Celebrating One Year of Studio Miyabi: A Look Back at Our First Year in Business

November 14, 2024 at 5:59:00 PM

It's hard to believe that it’s already been a year since Studio Miyabi transitioned from a passion project to a full-time branding studio. The journey has been both exciting and fulfilling, as I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with some incredible clients and work on projects that truly align with the studio's vision.

The idea for Studio Miyabi was sparked during my time living in Northern Japan. Immersed in the region’s distinct aesthetic and intentional way of life, I felt a growing desire to reconnect with my creative side. At the time, I was working in project management—a role that I enjoyed but found creatively unfulfilling. With a background in design that had been somewhat set aside after an international move, I felt it was time to merge my organizational skills with my passion for design. And so, Studio Miyabi was born.

Looking back on this first year, what stands out most are the relationships I’ve built with my clients. I’ve been fortunate to work with brands that share a deep commitment to quality and intentional design. Every project has been a unique journey, from the early stages of brainstorming to the final reveal, and I’ve loved hearing the stories and motivations behind each brand. It’s incredibly rewarding to see our collaborative visions come to life and to witness the impact of a well-crafted brand identity on a client’s business.

While there’s so much to celebrate from this past year, I’m also looking forward to what’s ahead. We have some exciting projects in the works that I can’t wait to share, and I’m eager to continue growing, learning, and collaborating with new clients who value thoughtful, purposeful design as much as I do.

To my clients and community, thank you for your trust and support. Here’s to another year of creativity, connection, and meaningful design.
